Notifications Channel

The Notifications channels reads aloud your recent alerts from your favorite apps such as Messages, WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook, Facebook Messenger and more. An incoming notification is automatically added to the Notification Channel. To listen to your notifications, you can navigate to the Notifications channel and scroll through your Notifications. Your O6 must be connected with your phone for your Notifications channel to receive new Notifications. To receive Notifications from a specific app, you need to enable Notifications for that app on your iPhone.

To enable Notifications from your favorite app on your iPhone:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Browse to your app and tap on it.
  4. Set Allow Notifications to ON and keep the App Notifcations settings screen open.
  5. Set Show in Notification Center to ON.

If music is playing, during an incoming notification such as a text message, the music volume will be temporarily reduced (audio-ducking) and the notification will be narrated.

If you are listening to podcasts, then the podcast will be temporarily paused while your notification is narrated. Press the ring button to dismiss the notification anytime and resume playback.
